In my new role as parent liaison for Hillsborough County School's District III, I help parents with special needs children by providing them with information and resources. The goal of this assistance is to empower parents to become effective advocates for their children.
As a parent liaison for Hillsborough County's District III, I faciliate communication and information flow between parents, teachers and school administrators. There are six parent liaisons within Hillsborough County all of whom are supervised by the District Area Office administrative staff in conjuction with Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System, Parent Services Department.
This website is designed as a repository of information for parents as well as a place to ask questions.
